Andy Dietrich

 

Andy Dietrich is a lifelong resident of East Tennessee with deep roots in the Appalachian Highlands. Born and raised in Kingsport, he was shaped early by a family committed to faith, service, and community. Andy is a graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business with a minor in Economics from Elon University, where he was a member of the Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity.

Andy’s career in the automobile industry began at age 15 in his grandfather’s dealership, Anderson Ford in Kingsport, and has grown into a lifelong passion. In 2007, he became co-owner of Champion Chevrolet Cadillac in Johnson City and later expanded with the acquisition of the Chevrolet GMC store in Kingsport in 2023. Beyond business, Andy is deeply committed to regional leadership and service, having held roles including Past Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce Serving Johnson City, Jonesborough, and Washington County; Founder and Chief Inspiration Officer of RegionAHEAD; and service on numerous higher education, healthcare, and civic boards. A devoted father to his two children, Andy enjoys traveling, golfing, boating, and spending time outdoors with family while continuing to work toward strengthening communities across the Appalachian Highlands.
